Woofferton is engaged in an active quality-improvement programme. The current CQC overall rating is Requires Improvement, while the Effective, Caring and Responsive areas were rated Good in the assessment published following the 2024 assessment. We are committed to open communication, strengthened governance, safe medicines practice, effective oversight and learning, with a continuing focus on the quality and safety of care provided.

Our approach is centred on residents as individuals. Daily life is shaped around residents’ preferences, abilities, interests and relationships, with support available throughout the day and night. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms, maintain important relationships and make choices about how they spend their day. Activities may be offered individually or in groups and should reflect residents’ interests rather than a fixed timetable alone.
